As a child, I was fascinated by movies. The way that the images and sounds on the screen could transport me to another world was captivating, and I spent many hours watching films and analyzing them. As I grew older, I started to realize that I wanted to create these worlds myself. I began studying filmmaking simply by working on sets. Whether as a PA or extra I was always studying the roles and the process before me.
That’s when I realized that my skills as a photographer and videographer could be put to use on a film set. I started as a still photographer, capturing images of actors in a scene that could be used for marketing the film. However, I soon discovered that I also loved creating behind-the-scenes videos that would give viewers a glimpse into the process of bringing a film to life.
Working on a film crew has been a dream come true for me. I love being able to combine my passion for film with my visual storytelling skills. Whether I’m photographing a scene or capturing footage of a director at work, I feel like I’m a part of something truly magical.
